Stephanie Hamilton joined the Northern Arizona University staff in July of 2013. Hamilton serves as Academic Coordinator working with football and women's golf. Stephanie will also oversee the tutoring program, as well as work directly with other campus entities such as Disability Resources and the Student Learning Centers. She previously spent a year at Utah State University as a post graduate intern working with track and field, overseeing study hall, and co-teaching a study skill course: PSYC 1750.
Stephanie graduated from Seattle University in 2012, receiving two masters' degrees: M.A. in Sports Administration and Leadership and a M.Ed. in Student Development Administration. She received her bachelor's degree in Interdisciplinary Studies of Behavioral and Social Sciences from Eastern Washington University in 2007.
Her background includes working at the University of Washington as Student- Athlete Academic Mentor, serving as a study hall supervisor and residence hall monitor for incoming freshmen in the summer LEAP program, along with working in event management for 23 years. Her experience also includes academic advising and creating events and workshops for the Women's Programs at Highline Community College and as a Program Assistant for Eastern Washington University at the Bellevue campus assisting students with admissions, financial aid, international program, graduation applications, and preliminary advising.
She comes from Seattle, WA and is a proud mother of her 25 year old daughter, Julia, and enjoys outdoor activities, reading, volunteering and meeting people.
