1986 NAU Athletics Hall of Fame Class

Mark Brewster (Baseball, 1966-69)

Brewster played for NAU Hall of Fame Coach Al Flitcraft.  The centerfielder holds the school record for highest batting average (.488) for a single season.  Also holds the highest lifetime batting average (.404) of any Lumberjack baseball player.  Brewster was selected to the NAIA-All District 7 team in 1967, 1968 and 1969.  Both in 1968 and 1969 he was honored as an All-American second team pick by the NAIA, and signed a professional contract with the San Francisco Giants.
