Northern Arizona University has signed a five-year apparel agreement with adidas to outfit all 15 NAU teams with footwear and practice and game apparel.

“adidas is pleased to announce a partnership with Northern Arizona University Athletic Department,” said JoDonna Lucas, the Director of US Team Sports for adidas. “We are excited to include the Lumberjacks into our adidas family, and look forward to a great working relationship.”

NAU athletes, coaches and administrative staff all will be outfitted in adidas footwear, training apparel, uniforms, sideline gear and accessories for all practices and events. The agreement includes retail Adidas products to be used at the discretion of the Athletics Department, as well as minimum purchase amounts in return over the course of each year of the agreement.

"We are excited to partner with adidas to provide our student-athletes with the footwear and apparel to enhance their competitive advantage and overall experience at NAU," Athletics Director Jim Fallis said. "The adidas staff has been very accommodating during the transition period, providing quality products for our athletes and staff to wear on and off the field."

The NAU men’s and women’s basketball program recently showcased their new adidas uniforms with the start of the 2008-09 season.
NAU-adidas gear is available at the NAU Bookstore and various outlets around the state.
