FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. – The Northern Arizona football team will wrap up its offseason with the annual Blue-Gold Spring Game this Saturday, April 22. The game is set for a 2 p.m. start at the Walkup Skydome. Admission is free and open to the public. Fans should arrive early to see the Running of the Seniors.
"I can't wait for the Spring Game this Saturday," said head coach Jerome Souers. "The players have worked really hard this spring season and I'm proud of the progress that we've made. It will be good to get out there and end the season on a high note in front of all of our fans."
There will be a thunderstick giveaway to all fans. Attendees can pick up any earned Lumberjack Loyalty prizes and for students that have not received their Kiss My Axe t-shirts, it will be the last chance to get one.
Saturday's game will be televised live on FOX Sports Arizona and FOX College Sports Pacific. Fans can also listen online at www.hits106.gcmaz.com.
An autograph session will take place after the game with the following players participating: quarterback Case Cookus, wide receiver Emmanuel Butler, wide receiver Elijah Marks, wide receiver Hunter Burton, running back Joe Logan, tight end Jonathan Baldwin, offensive lineman Blake Porter, offensive lineman Tyler Shank, kicker Griffin Roehler, defensive lineman James Walton, defensive lineman Clarence Smith, defensive lineman Jalen Goss, linebacker Jake Casteel, linebacker Byron Evans, safety Wes Sutton, cornerback Khalil Dorsey, and cornerback Maurice Davison.
