FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. – The Northern Arizona men's basketball will travel down the mountain to face the top-ranked team in the nation Arizona. Tip-off versus the Wildcats is set for Monday, Dec. 23 at 8 p.m. at the McKale Center. The game will be aired live on Pac-12 Network. For more information on how to purchase tickets click here.

Monday's game will be the second time NAU has played Arizona while the Wildcats were ranked No. 1. The Lumberjacks fell to the Wildcats 101-66 on Nov. 27, 2002. The Wildcats have won the last 29 meetings.

Senior forward Max Jacobsen and the rest of the Lumberjacks will look to hand Arizona its first loss of the season. NAU is coming off a 63-61 win over Grand Canyon, but it has not played a game since Dec. 14. The Lumberjacks are 1-6 away from home this season with its last road victory coming on Nov. 9 at UTSA.

Arizona is undefeated so far this season and has won 26-consecutive regular-season non-conference games. The Wildcats entered the week ranked eighth in the nation in scoring defense, second in rebound margin and 10th in scoring margin. Guard T.J. McConnell ranks fifth in the nation in total assists.
