FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. – After taking a week off from play, the Northern Arizona women's tennis team will head out for a three matches on the road beginning in Albuquerque to face New Mexico and then ending the road trip is Las Cruces to face New Mexico State and Missouri Kansas City.

Series History

This will be the 24th meeting between New Mexico and Northern Arizona and the 28th meeting between NAU and New Mexico State. This weekend's final match, against Kansas City Missouri, will be the second matchup all-time between the schools with the last match favoring the Lumberjacks.

Coach Kroll Quote of the Week

"We're all looking forward to this three day match weekend.  Getting a chance to play such tough non-conference matches is always exciting, especially when it includes playing nationally ranked UNM.  Some of our players are playing very well right now, and not only should this give us a good opportunity to see where we are as a team, but also how well we are competing with a higher level of competition."

Three Days, Three Matches

This will be the first time this season where the men's tennis team will play three matches in three straight days. The Lumberjacks are coming off a tough loss to Gonzaga in Tucson, Ariz. where they fell short 4-3 to the Bulldogs.

Non-Conference Schedule

The Lumberjacks will have one more non-conference match against Layola Marymount before facing Big Sky opponents. The Lumberjacks will also face non-conference opponents, Grand Canyon, Air Force and UNLV in late March.

Conference Play Right Around the Corner

After these next three matches, five of their next seven matches will be against Big Sky opponents. The Lumberjacks were picked to finish eighth in the Big Sky after finishing 10th last season
