NAU Student-Athletes Continue to Graduate at a High RateINDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Northern Arizona University’s NCAA Graduation Success Rate of 84 leads the Big Sky Conference, according to a national report released Tuesday. The NCAA developed the GSR for Division I institutions in 2002 in response to college and university presidents who wanted more accurate graduation data. NAU’s rate is the second-highest in the state of Arizona amongst the Regent institutions.
Handel, Schumann Highlight Strong Weekend at ITA Mountain RegionalsLAS VEGAS, Nev. – After the success Northern Arizona University men’s tennis player Tim Handel had last season in his rookie campaign, the Vegas odds were surely tipped in his favor this weekend at the annual ITA Mountain Regional Championships. Handel along with Felix Schumann both tallied wins against seeded opponents, with Handel seeded at No. 17 and making it all the way to the main draw quarterfinals to finish 4-1 in singles.
