2013 Track & Field: Continued his dominance as arguably the best distance athlete to ever compete at NAU ... Was a two-time Big Sky Champion at the conference indoor meet, winning the mile and 3,000-meter run ... Regular season best in the 3,000 meters (7:50.44) came at the Husky Classic and was the fifth-best time in country ... Nearly ran a sub-four minute mile for the second-straight year, clocking 4:00.42@ at Big Sky Indoors ... Ran the fourth-best indoor 5,000m time (13:37.01@) in school history at the NAU Tune-Up, good enough for second in the country in 2013 ... Racked up his eighth and ninth All-America honors at the NCAA Indoor Championships in record fashion with a runner-up finish in the 5,000m (13:30.24), the second-fastest all time indoors at NAU, and a fourth-place mark in the 3,000 meters (7:49.53), the third-fastest in NAU history ... 2012 Track & Field: Had one of the best all around track and field seasons in NAU history, compiling two All-America honors indoors, breaking two NAU records and one Big Sky Conference mark, and representing Mexico in the 10,000 meters at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London ... Broke the four-minute barrier in the mile at the Mountain T's Invitational with an altitude-converted 3:55.48@ ... Shattered NAU Alum David McNeill's conference 3,000-meter record at the Husky Classic, battling out a runner-up finish in 7:44.63 ... Became just the fourth Big Sky Conference athlete to capture three individual event titles in the same championship meet (Mile, 3,000m, 5,000m) ... Took seventh in the 3,000m and fifth in the 5,000 meters at the NCAA Indoor Championships for the sixth and seventh national awards of his career ... Redshirted the outdoor season, but ran a personal-best time in the 10K (27:32.90) at the Payton Jordan Invitational as an unattached athlete to punch his ticket to London ... Competed in front of 80,000 fans at London's Olympic Stadium on August 4, finishing 21st in a time of 28:36.19.

2011 Cross Country: Competed in four meets prior to the NCAA National Cross Country Championships, winning two and placing in the top-five in the remaining two ... Placed fourth at the NCAA Mountain Region Championships (30:30.8) in leading the NAU men to a third-place finish and an at-large bid in the national meet ... Shattered the course record by nearly 40 seconds in winning the Big Sky Conference individual title (24:15.43), defeating the nearest competition by 23 seconds, and leading the NAU men to its record fifth-consecutive team title ... Was the seventh consecutive individual conference winner for NAU, joining national champions David McNeill and Lopez Lomong, along with Jon Cardenas, on that list ... Placed third at the Wisconsin Adidas Invitational (23:27), a meet that featured 20 of the top 30 men's team in the country ... In his first race of the season at the Oklahoma State Cowboy Jamboree, he took the individual title (23:34.34) and led his team to a third-place finish.

2011 Track & Field: Finished fifth overall in the 5,000-meter run (13:38.36) at the NCAA Outdoor Championships for his fourth All-America honor of the year ... Held the third-best collegiate mark in the 5K for the outdoor season with the second-fastest time in NAU history of 13:26.94 ... Earned first birth in 5K outdoor final with the fifth-best time at the NCAA West Prelims (13:35.03) ... Won the 5K and finished third in the 1,500m at the Big Sky Outdoor Championships, scoring 16 points for the Lumberjacks ... Opened outdoor season with the third-fastest 1,500m time in NAU history at the Mt. SAC Relays when he crossed the finish line in 3:41.80 ... At the 2011 NCAA Indoor Championships, finished fourth overall in a NAU indoor-record time of 13:29.01 for first All-America award on the track ... Returned the following night to finish 14th overall in the 3,000-meter run for Second-Team All- America honors ... In mid-February, ran to a 7:52.18 seventh-place finish at the Husky Classic for the nation's sixth-best time in the event in 2011 ... The following weekend, he claimed an altitude- hindered 14:21.04 clocking over 5,000 meters for his second PR and automatic time of the season (converted to 13:42.64) ... Competing in his second Big Sky Indoor Championships, won the men's 3K for second time in his career and was a part of Distance Medley Relay that finished second overall.

2010 Cross Country: Claimed All-American honors for the first time at the NCAA Cross Country Championships after placing 16th overall ... Was the top finisher for the Lumberjacks at the national championship event and finished the 10K LaVern Gibson Championship Course in a time of 30:10.7 ... Pushed his streak of top-five finishes to eight after placing third overall at the NCAA Mountain Region Championships, running to a career-best 10K mark of 29:33.0 ... It was the highest finish at the regional event, earning him his first career All-Region honors ... Took second at the Big Sky Championships behind teammate David McNeill in a time of 21:30.6 for his highest finish in an NAU uniform ... Followed up strong 2009 performance at the NCAA Pre-Nationals with a fifth-place finish (23:33.9) in 2010 to pace the Lumberjacks ... It was his second-straight top-five finish in the 8K event ... Opened season with third-place overall finish at the Aztec Invite (25:30.2), matching his 2009 finish from San Diego.

2010 Track & Field: Focused on the 10,000-meter run during sophomore season ... Ended season by reaching the NCAA West Region Prelims and finishing 16th in a time of 30:02.94 ... At the Big Sky Outdoor Championships, doubled up in the 5,000-meter run and the 10K ... Finished fourth overall in the 10K to give the Lumberjacks the top-four finishers in the race ... Returned the following day to finish second in the 5K, repeating his 2009 performance in the same race ... Ran career-best, and NCAA regional qualifying 10K time at the Payton Jordan Stanford Cardinal Invitational (28:40.19) ...Finished sixth overall in the race, and third among collegiate runners ... Opened 2010 campaign in California by finishing 26th (13:49.35) in the 5K at the Mt. SAC Relays ... Competed the following day at the Beach Invite in the 1500-meter run, finishing in a time of 3:59.13.

2009 Cross Country: Ran in three races during injury-shortened season for the Lumberjacks, finishing in the top five in each one ... Finished fourth overall, one spot behind teammate Jordan Chipangama, in the "blue" race at the NCAA Pre-Nationals for best 8K time of the year (23:49) ... At the Cowboy Jamboree, helped men's team capture title with a fifth-place finish in a time of 23:55.4 ... Took third at the Aztec Invite in season debut, finishing behind teammates Chipangama and Ahmed Osman to give the Lumberjacks a clean sweep of the top-three finishers.

2009 Track & Field: Capped off sensational freshman year with a 19th-place finish in the prelims of the 5,000m at the NCAA Outdoor Championships ... At the West Region Championship, finished 10th in the 5k with a time of 14:16.20 ... Took second place in both the 5k (14:39.35) and 10,000m (30:53.59) races at the Big Sky Outdoor Championships ... During the indoor campaign claimed the title in the 3,000m run at the Big Sky Indoor Championships and took fifth place in the 5k (15:04.05).

2008 Cross Country: Competed in four races as a freshman ... Placed 76th overall (30:40.6) at NCAA Championships, and fourth on the team ... Finished 16th (30:09.1) at NCAA Mountain Regional ...
