HALL OF FAMER . . . ON AND OFF THE COURT
This Friday evening, NAU Athletics is hosting the 2013 Hall of Fame Banquet from 5:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at the High Country Conference Center. Former NAU women's basketball player Jess LeBlanc (NAU '99) joins women's soccer player Raegin Eyre in the 2013 class.
Jess had an outstanding career as a Lumberjack both on and off the court. Jess was a three time All-Big Sky selection (1997, 1998 and 1999). She was named the Big Sky Outstanding Freshman and Outstanding Sixth Player of the Year in 1996. Jess scored 1,450 points, which is the third highest career point total in program history. Off the court, Jess was a four-time Big Sky All-Academic Team member and Golden Eagle Scholar-Athlete Award winner.
Think that's impressive? Keep reading . . . After graduation, Jess attended graduate school and received a master's degree in Public Health. She then attended and graduated from the University of Arizona Medical School. After completing her residency in Seattle, Jess returned to Flagstaff where she worked in family practice.
