We want YOU in Flagstaff this Sunday, November 10th at 3:00 p.m. in the Rolle Activity Center for our home opener versus Hawaii. If you can't make it in person, you can catch us on Fox Sports Arizona. As a matter of fact, you can catch most of our home games on Fox Sports Arizona. NAU-TV will broadcast and distribute nine of our 13 home games this season beginning with Sunday's opener versus Hawaii.

NAU-TV is NAU’s own production studio. It connects Northern Arizona University to a worldwide audience by promoting the people and programs making NAU a great university. NAU-TV has a unique partnership with Fox Sports Arizona. This year, over 30 NAU events will be produced by NAU-TV and distributed to Fox Sports Arizona, Fox College Sports (available to 54 million cable subscribers in the United States) and our local Flagstaff cable.

According to the Voice of the Lumberjacks, Mitch Strohman, “It has been a great partnership that has been supported by the President as it has become a powerful vehicle to showcase NAU to the southwest and across the country through Lumberjack Athletics. The university invested in the infrastructure for full HD a couple of years ago, which enhanced both the quality of the broadcasts and our relationship with Fox Sports Arizona. Our partnership is fairly unique and puts NAU on the map in a very competitive broadcast environment.”

Yesterday, we joined Louie the Lumberjack and the rest of the NAU Athletic Department in a send-off for the NAU soccer team as they headed to Portland to compete for the 2013 Big Sky soccer championship. Last Saturday, our men's cross country team won its seventh straight Big Sky Championship while the NAU women's cross country team came in second in the Big Sky. After its fourth straight win, NAU football is 5-1 in Big Sky play and ranked 14th in the FCS Coaches Poll. NAU volleyball is in 3rd place in the Big Sky with a 10-4 conference record. NAU swimming and diving is off to a 2-0 start. Our fall sports teams have been terrific and an inspiration as we approach the start of our season.
