THE MADNESS OF MARCH
After two gut-wrenching losses last weekend to Idaho State and Weber State, we need two road wins and some luck this weekend to achieve our goal of making the Big Sky Tournament. We close out the Big Sky regular season at Montana State Thursday night at 7:00 p.m. and at Montana Saturday afternoon at 2:00 p.m. You can tune in to Stayson Isobe’s audio call of both games at www.nauathletics.com and/or catch the video feed at www.WatchBigSky.com.

THE CHOP HEARD ROUND THE WORLD
This past weekend was one for the ages for NAU Athletics. Congrats to Andy Johns, Nikki Huffman and the NAU swimming and diving team as they captured their first ever Western Athletic Conference championship on Saturday. Congratulations are also in order for the NAU women’s and men’s indoor track and field teams as both teams won the Big Sky Indoor Championship over the weekend in Pocatello, Idaho. And a big shout out to Jack Murphy and the NAU men’s basketball team as they kept their playoff hopes alive by winning two critical road games, including a thrilling and historic overtime victory over conference leader Weber State. What a great day to be a Lumberjack!
