Women’s Golf Opens Tied for 13th at Northern Migration

FLORENCE, Ariz. – The Northern Arizona women’s golf team is tied for 13th with Eastern Michigan after posting a 24-over par 312 in the opening round of the Northern Migration Invitational hosted by Nebraska.

The Lumberjacks played in the blustery conditions during their morning tee time. Freshmen Stephanie Kim and Aleah Kim were the top two for NAu with rounds of four-over par 76 and five-over par 77, respectively. Junior Alexa Kim carded a 79 in the opening round, while senior Megan Buck had an 80. Junior Dakin Banta is tied for 75th after an 81 over the first 18 holes.

The tournament continues Tuesday with the second of three rounds.
