Women’s Golf Team Holds Clinic at Oakcreek

SEDONA, Ariz. – The Northern Arizona women’s golf team gave a clinic on Thursday at Oakcreek Country Club open to their members from junior level on up, giving lessons on all areas of the golf game from swing analysis to putting.

The NAU women’s team practices at Oakcreek several times a week during the winter and holds its annual spring tournament at the course, the Red Rocks Invitational.

“We wanted to give back to Oak Creek and help support them,” said Head Coach Brad Bedortha. “They gave lessons and worked on their chipping and putting. It was a goodwill event for Oak Creek. By all accounts said they really loved it.”

The event was attended by 10 people who worked with members of the women’s team.
