CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. – Junior Savana Bezdicek was recognized by the Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) as an All-American Scholar for the second time in her career. A total of 664 women's collegiate golfers were recognized with the prestigious honor.
Bezdicek posted a stroke average of 80.05 during her sophomore season highlighted by an 11th-place finish at the Rainbow Wahine Invitational in October. The Colbert, Wash. native currently holds a 3.75 GPA in mechanical engineering and was named to the Spring Big Sky All-Academic team last month.
The criteria for selection to the WGCA All-American Scholar Team are some of the most stringent in all of college athletics with eligible golfers needed a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.50.
