FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. – The Northern Arizona women's soccer team is taking their success on the field and passing their knowledge down to the young soccer generation through a free youth clinic led by head coach Andre Luciano and his squad. Tonight will be the second clinic in a week's span that the team will host for the boys and girls in the Flagstaff community.
"The Tuesday night community clinic is a chance for us to give back to the local soccer community," said Luciano. "It is an opportunity for our players to integrate with the local youth. It is a fantastic way for us to showcase our program and try to help mold future players."
Last Tuesday, a total of 215 soccer players participated at the clinic at Lumberjack Stadium ranging from eighth grade and younger. The coaching staff and players helped the kids out with drills to improve their game.
The participants are broken up into age groups and will go through an hour of drills. Tonight's clinic will run from 6-7:15 p.m. at Lumberjack Stadium.
