FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. – The Northern Arizona University women's soccer team is back in Flagstaff to host a double header against Grand Canyon and the University of New Mexico Saturday, April 1. The Lumberjacks kicked off spring season last weekend against Dixie State in Utah and will return to Lumberjack Stadium for the first time in more than five months.

Head Coach Andre Luciano and the Lumberjacks will first compete against GCU at 1 p.m. and then New Mexico at 4 p.m. Both games will be held at the Max Spilsbury Field at Lumberjack Stadium and are free for all who attend. Times have been changed due to weather.

Northern Arizona is coming off of an incredible 2016 season and with six seniors now graduated, the Lumberjacks are looking to the juniors for leadership. Spring is a time of improvement for the blue and gold squad and will prove to bring the squad closer together going into next season.

Following this weekend, the Lumberjacks will host one more game Sunday, April 9 against Embry-Riddle. The 'Jacks will then continue spring season against the University of Arizona, Paradise Valley Community College and Arizona State. The full schedule can be found here.
