Swimming and Diving Ends Season with 1-Meter at Zones

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. – The Northern Arizona diving team completed competition at the 2011 NCAA Zone E Regionals at the Minnesota Aquatics Center on Friday.  Senior Taryn Harris placed 22nd for the Lumberjacks on the 1-meter springboard.

Harris posted the top score for NAU finishing at 238.05 while a trio of Lumberjacks just after in 31st, and in a two-way tie for 32nd.

Junior Holly Frost finished behind Harris in 31st with a score of 219.95.  Seniors Megan Collier and Lana Christensen followed with scores of 219.20.  Junior Cassie Anderson ended up 35th while sophomore Kristy Ardavanis rounded out the Lumberjack competitors placing 42nd.

The Lumberjacks wrapped up the 2010-11 season this weekend missing NCAA Championship qualifying scores.
