Personal: Ellissa Rose Morrissey was born Aug. 11, 1993 in Huntington Beach, Calif....Daughter of Mark and Tracey Morrissey...Only child...Father, Mark, was a two-time national champion in crew at Cornell University...Chose NAU because it had the major she wants, the campus is beautiful, it has a great college atmosphere, and the postive attitude of the girls on the team...Hobbies include shopping, movies, and music...Also considered San Jose State, Houston, Grand Canyon, and Occidental during the recruiting process.
