OGDEN, Utah – After posting a double-double with 57 assists and 15 digs and adding four blocks against Sacramento State on Thursday, NAU junior setter Kelli Dallmann has been named the Big Sky Player of the Week for the second time this season. Dallmann was also named player of the week after the first week of the season in which she was the MVP of the Wolverine Invitational. NAU has now won five of the six Big Sky Player of the Week awards this season.
The 57 assists against Sacramento State were a season high for Dallmann, who led NAU past the Hornets in five sets to push the Lumberjacks' school record start to 12-0. Paired with 15 digs, Dallmann posted her seventh double-double of the season, the most in the Big Sky. An All-Big Sky second team selection in 2010, Dallmann leads the Big Sky this season with 10.53 assists per set and 0.34 aces per set. In three conference matches, Dallmann has averaged 10.75 assists per set, 2.08 digs per set and 1.00 blocks per set with six kills on a .455 hitting percentage.
One of only three remaining undefeated NCAA Division-I volleyball teams in the country, NAU returns to the road this week with matches at Portland State on Friday and Eastern Washington on Saturday.
