FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. – The Northern Arizona volleyball team welcomes Arizona State to the Rolle Activity Center on Saturday for their final match of the spring season. Fans are encouraged to attend as the match will be open to the public with free admission for all in attendance. The match will begin at 11:30 a.m.
The Lumberjacks are looking to cap off their spring with an impressive victory over their in-state Pac-12 counterpart after a successful showing at the New Mexico Spring Tournament last weekend. Playing four matches last Saturday, the Lumberjacks punctuated their short stay in Albuquerque, N.M. with a 3-1 record.
Arizona State finished the 2013 season with a 19-14 record, 8-12 in the Pac-12. The Sun Devils fell to BYU in five sets in the opening round of the 2013 NCAA Tournament. It marked the first time they made back-to-back trips to the NCAA Tournament since the 1999-2000 seasons.
