2012 Track & Field: Competed as a freshman in both the indoor and outdoor seasons ... Had the fourth best marks on the team in the 800-meter and Mile runs in the indoor season ... Best indoor showing in the 800m came at the Mtn. T’s Invite where he ran 1:53.88@ and took medalist honors ... Finished fourth in the Mile at the Big Sky Championships in 4:07.38@, and also scored in the 800m with another fourth-place finish ... Also ran the 800-meter leg of NAU’s Big Sky Champion distance medley squad ... Was third on the team in the 800 and second in the 1,500-meter run during the outdoor season ... Scored in both events at the Big Sky Championships with a seventh-place effort in the 800 and a sixth-place mark in the 1,500.
2011 Cross Country: Opened up his Lumberjack career with a fifth-place finish at the Dave Murray Invitational ... Traveled as NAU's No. 7 runner to the Oklahoma State Cowboy Jamboree, finishing in 26:05.34 (118th) ... Competed at the Big Sky Championships and battled through flu symtoms to finish 45th (27:54.56).
High School: Competed all four years as part of the track and field and cross country teams for the Castle View Sabercats ... Earned three MVP awards during his junior and senior years, one in track and field (2011) and two in cross country (2009, 2010) ... Holds his school records in the 800-meter, the mile, and the 2-mile races, as well as the cross country 5K ... Was also a part of the school-record 4x800-meter relay team and the distance medley squad... Garnered four All-State honors, three for track and field (2008, 2009, 2010) and one for cross country (2009) ...
