Former Lumberjack to Compete on the World Stage

EDINBURGH, Scotland - Former Northern Arizona University cross country runner Rochelle Kanuho was selected to represent the United States at the 25th Bupa Great Edinburgh Cross Country race in Edinburgh, Scotland on Saturday, January 11th.

The former Lumberjack was a three-time All-Big Sky and two-time All-Mountain Region cross country athlete during her time at NAU. The Flagstaff native graduated from Coconino High School in 2008 where she was a four-year letterwinner in cross country and track & field. Also selected to the team was Flagstaff natives Amy Lynne Van Alstine and Kellyn Johnson.

2014 will be the 25th staging of the Great International XCountry event, which has featured some of the world's best athletes since its inception in 1988. Live streaming coverage of the event begins at 8:15am ET on
