Khiarica Rasheed was the NAU women's basketball team’s leading scorer in 81-77 and 75-64 road wins over Idaho State and Weber State respectively with 16.5 points per game on 55 percent shooting from the field and 84.6 percent shooting at the free throw line. She also averaged 7.5 rebounds per game to help pace the Lumberjacks to their first Big Sky road sweep in almsot 14 years. Rasheed started the week with an 11 point, six rebound effort against Idaho State on Thursday, Feb. 7 as the Lumberjacks knocked off the conference-leading Bengals . She followed that up with 22 points and nine rebounds against Weber State on Saturday, Feb. 9. She shot 8-for-12 in the game and was a perfect 6-for-6 at the line. Rasheed came up huge in the fourth quarter, scoring 12 of her 22 points in the final 10 minutes to help NAU overcome a nine-point fourth quarter deficit.
