Mission:
The Sims-Treharne Collaborative Research Lab Fosters a collaboration between the Northern Arizona University Athletics Department and The College of Health and Human Services to conduct continuous research to further enhance NAU Student-Athlete athletic performance. Aiming to provide student-athletes with the opportunity to reach their highest athletic potential while educating them on all aspects of sports performance, ranging from recovery, nutrition, and strength and conditioning.Â
We utilize collected data combined with CHHS research expertise to aid in decision making for the NAU Sport Performance and Athletic Medicine Department, adding and expanding to the body of research on sport performance, better the athlete, as well as push the field of sports performance forward.
