Elijah Marks rose to the occasion with Emmanuel Butler sidelined, recording career-highs of 14 receptions and 206 receiving yards along with two touchdowns in NAU's 28-10 win at Cal Poly last Saturday, Sept. 23. Stepping into the role of the Lumberjacks' top receiver, Marks had one of the greatest single games in program history. His 14 receptions tied a 15-year school record as he became just the second Lumberjack to ever record 14 catches in a game. Meanwhile, his 206 yards were the fifth-most in school history and the most in a game in the Big Sky this season. Marks' first touchdown of the game on the opening possession provided NAU with a lead it never relinquished in a wire-to-wire victory on the road.
