Geordie Beamish won the individual title at the NCAA Mountain Region Championships in Salt Lake City, Utah on Friday, Nov. 15 with a time of 3:25.6 in the men's 10K race. His first-place finish guided the Lumberjack men's cross country team to a first-place team finish and their fourth straight Mountain Regional title. Beamish's regional performance was on the heels of a second-place finish at the Big Sky Cross Country Championships and he was later named the Mountain Region Athlete of the Year.
