Rallying back from a 6-1 first-set loss to Arizona State's Christian Lerby, NAU's Chris Stelle earned the Lumberjacks lone point of the day with a pair of 6-4 set wins to close out his season-opening match in Tempe on Sunday. Slotted in at No. 3 in the lineup, Steele, a senior from Phoenix, opened his senior season with a win against a Pac-12 opponent, his first against a Power-Five opponent while at NAU.
