Senior Parker Joens led a strong outing by NAU's throwers at the UNLV Spring Opener hosted by the Rebels in Las Vegas. Earning golds in the shot put, with a throw of 18.57 meters, and discus with a mark of 51.11m, Joens currently sits second and seventh in the nation.
