The first NAU women's runner to finish inside the top six at the NCAA Cross Country Championships since Johanna Nilsson won the individual title in 2005, Taryn O'Neill finished with a time of 20:23.0 after holding a spot right around the top 10 for the entire race. The NAU women's team finished 11th, its best finish since coming in seventh in 2007.
