Ashley Taylor was the only Big Sky woman to earn First Team All-American honors after placing fourth in the 800m race at the 2018 NCAA Indoor National Championships with a school-record time of 2:03.66. It was also the second-fastest time recorded in conference history. With her performance, Taylor led NAU to a 37th-place finish at the national meet with five team points earned.
