2009-10 Men's Basketball Schedule

FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. – The Northern Arizona men's basketball team opened practice Friday at the Rolle Activity Center in preparation for the 2009-10 season. Head Coach Mike Adras welcomed back four letterwinners among seven returnees.

Juniors Cameron Jones (12.7 ppg., 2.6 rpg.) and Shane Johannsen (9.9 ppg., 5.4) are the only two returning starters from a lineup last season that lost seniors Josh Wilson and Zarko Comagic.

Senior Nick Larson (3.1 ppg., 3.0 rpg.) returns after starting 14 games last season along with sophomore Josh Lepley (5.9 ppg., and 3.o rpg.).

The Lumberjacks has three returning players who redshirted last season including Wyoming transfer Eric Platt and redshirt freshmen Gabe Rogers and Luis Flores. There are also six newcomers on the roster, including three junior college transfers, two freshmen and a transfer from Liberty.

NAU will have one exhibition game on Nov. 6 in a doubleheader with the women's team before opening play on Nov. 13 against Southwestern College in the Rolle Activity Center.
