Volleyball Falls 3-0 to Montana

MISSOULA, Mont. - Northern
Arizona volleyball fell 3-0 to Montana at the West Auxiliary Gym on
Friday. The Lumberjacks were downed by sets of 25-18, 25-19,
and 25-23.
NAU (4-10, 1-4 BSC) dropped its
third-consecutive conference match with a season-low hitting
percentage of .009 in Big Sky competition. The Lumberjacks
ran into the outstanding play of senior middle blocker Jaimie
Thibeault who hit .562 for the match.
Thibeault converted on 16 attacks
for a game-high 11 kills.
Montana won its second straight
match to improve to 7-10 overall. The Grizzlies evened their Big
Sky Conference mark at 3-3.
The Lumberjacks dropped to 1-4 in
league play as Montana hit .229 over the course of the entire
match. The women were led by outside hitter Lauren Campbell
who totaled five kills and a .235 hitting percentage.
NAU will be back in action on
Saturday when they face Montana State at 6 p.m. in Bozeman, Mont.
