Volleyball Drops 3-0 Decision at Eastern Washington

CHENEY, Wash. – Northern
Arizona volleyball lost its third-straight match with a 3-0 defeat
at Eastern Washington on Saturday night at Reese Court. The
Lumberjacks postseason chances ended with the loss and
Montana's win over Sacramento State.
NAU (8-16, 5-10 BSC) played its best volleyball in the opening set
hitting .206 with 11 kills and a match-low four errors. The
Lumberjacks lost the set 25-18 and their numbers decreased each of
the next two sets. NAU hit .097 in the second and .094 in the third
set.
Kelli Dallmann led the Lumberjacks with nine kills averaging three
kills-per-set for the match. Jana Mays-Robinson totaled a team-high
15 assists while Anna Gott added a match-high 12 digs.
The Eagles' Sara Todorovich hit 1.000 with 10 kills in 10
attacks. Eastern Washington (17-9, 11-4 BSC) had three players with
double digit kill totals. Hayley Hills recorded a match-high 13
kills and Chenoa Coviare converted 11 kills in addition to
Todorovich's perfect night.
Eastern Washington (17-9, 11-4 BSC) avenged its 3-2 loss to the
Lumberjacks in Flagstaff on October 15. NAU is now 21-32 against
the Eagles in series history.
