Women's Tennis Nets Seven More Victories at Southwest Invitational

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – Northern Arizona concluded its
outstanding weekend at the Southwest Collegiate Invitational with
four more singles victories and three doubles wins on Sunday in
Albuquerque.
Junior Edit Suhajda completed a perfect 4-0 weekend with a 602, 6-0
win over Emily Lampman from Western New Mexico. Juniors Orsi
Golovics and Aimee Oki and freshman Nicole Perez also cruised the
straight-set victories on Sunday.
The Lumberjacks doubles squads were shuffled again and resulted in
three more wins. Suhajda and junior Yumi Hasegawa cruised to an 8-1
win over New Mexico's Manumea Duri and Kristin Eggleston,
while Oki and Perez and the pair of Golovics and freshman Malia
Wahinepio claimed 8-3 and 8-2 victories, respectively.
NAU concludes it's fall season next week in southern
California at the UC Irvine Fall Invitational, beginning Friday,
November 13.
