Men's Basketball Continues Mountain West Swing

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The
Northern Arizona men's basketball team will continue its
Mountain West Conference swing Saturday against Air Force before
playing Colorado State on Sunday. Tipoff against Air Force is
scheduled for 7 p.m. at Clune Arena.
The Lumberjacks lost at No. 19 New Mexico Wednesday night.
The Air Force Falcons (5-3) are coming off a 75-68 defeat to
Washington State last Saturday in Spokane, Wash., despite a
career-high 25 points from freshman Michael Lyons.
NAU owns a 3-3 all-time record against Air Force. The Lumberjacks
opened the 2005-06 season against Air Force in the Black Coaches
Association Classic in Seattle, Wash., in 2005-06, dropping a 62-49
decision. The two schools last played on campus in 2001-02 in
Flagstaff with Air Force winning 57-56. NAU's last win over
Air Force came in 2000-01 with a 63-58 victory in Colorado
Springs.
