FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. - Freshman Shayar Lee has seen action in 21 games in his first collegiate season. He has recently seen his minutes and production jump, averaging 8.0 points over the last three games with the help of a career-high with 17 points and a career-best seven rebounds against Montana State. An Apollo High School product, Lee helped his team win three high school state championships and was named The Arizona Republic's West Valley Player of the Year in 2007 and the Wells Fargo I Region Player of the Year as a junior and senior.

Love to trade places for a day with: Joe Johnson of the Atlanta Hawks. He is the man. He is my favorite player in the league.

Favorite City to Visit: I like Houston, Texas.

Favorite team as a kid: I liked the Houston Rockets. My brother pushed me into them with Barkley and Olajuwon. Then I transferred to the Suns: KJ (Kevin Johnson), Rex Chapman and “Hot Rod” Williams.

Favorite athlete to watch in another sport: Rafael Nadal.

Favorite value in others: Caring.

Favorite value in yourself: Considerate.

Worst: I am stubborn.

For dinner: I can't go wrong with grandma's house. She makes meatloaf with corn bread with it all buttered on top.

Talent I'd most like to have: I wish I could sing the national anthem or something.

Dream date: Me and Candace Parker playing one-on-one and then we go out to a nice, fancy restaurant and dress up. That would be nice. But no Sheldon Williams though (her husband).
