OGDEN, Utah - Seven members of the Northern Arizona women's basketball team have earned Big Sky All-Academic recognition for the winter of 2008-09, as announced by the Big Sky Conference.

To earn the honor, student-athletes must earn at least a 3.2 cumulative grade-point-average, and must participate in at least 50 percent of the team's contests.

Junior Liana Boer earns the honor for the third straight year, and it is the second honor for senior Janelle Matthews, senior Katie Schafer, sophomore Jenna Galloway and sophomore Melissa Spaich.
