FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. – Wrapping up the second week of fall camp, the Northern Arizona University football team will hold its first scrimmage Saturday night in the Walkup Skydome. Practice is set for 5-7 p.m. with the live work scheduled for the second half of the practice.

“Our camp process is getting our guys as close to game shape as we can,” said Head Coach Jerome Souers. “Our goal for Saturday is to push ourselves out there a little bit and get as many reps as we can. We want to get reps of good against good so our first team is against our first team. It will get our team playing the game of football with officials.”

Coaches Luncheon: Head Coach Jerome Souers will join the other fall sport coaches at the first Coaches Lunch of the 2009-10 season on Tuesday August 25 at noon at Collins' Irish Pub (on the corner of Rt. 66 and Leroux).
