Meet Men's Basketball's Gabe Rogers

FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. - Redshirt
freshman Gabe Rogers is making a big impact in his first season on
the court as a member of the Lumberjack basketball team. He has
seen action in 15 games with 12 starts and averaged 8.5 points, 2.0
rebounds and 2.3 assists per game. He has tallied double figures
six times, resetting career single game best four times this season
with a single best of 17 points at Colorado State.
Born: Born Gabriel Antony Rogers on May 19, 1990
in Houston, Texas
High School: A
2008 graduate of Klein Forest High School.
What's on
TV: Jersey Shore. It is entertaining. It is a comedy with
a little bit of romance and there is fighting too.
In my IPod: I
don't have an IPod. I use Luis Flores' IPod. I jam to
Chris Brown, Nelly, JayZ, Drake and anybody from Young Money.
What I drive: I
don't drive. Josh Lepley is my ride. We both have the same
classes. We just drive around together and I catch the bus.
Favorite Flicks:
The Hangover. That was probably my favorite movie from the past
decade.
What I'm
Reading: I will be reading a play for my Humanities 101
class in the next few weeks. I am looking forward to that.

YouTube for music, sports and funny stuff.
On your walls at home: White paint. I am pretty
cheap.

Worst Habit:
Biting my fingernails.
Love to trade places for a
day with: Kobe Bryant. He is the best basketball player in
the world. I would like to see how that feels.
First Job: I was
14 and I worked in Kroger, a grocery store. I did baskets, stacked
shelves and checked out. I did everything.
Favorite City to
Visit: Las Vegas.
Favorite team as a
kid: New York Knicks.
Favorite athlete to watch
in another sport: Ron Adeno

For dinner: Okra.
Baked Okra. I love it. My mother is a guru at it.

to have: to play soccer. It requires the most skill.
