Swimming and Diving Hosts 28th Annual Blue vs. Gold Meet

FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. – Northern
Arizona swimming and diving competes in its second competition of
the fall season with the 28th annual Blue vs. Gold meet at the Wall
Aquatic Center at 2 p.m. on Friday, October 15.
Blue vs. Gold is an intrasquad
competition dividing the Lumberjacks into teams competing in a
12-event meet. The Gold team won its second consecutive meet
last year, 121.5-70.5.
The Lumberjacks opened the year two
weeks ago with the 15th Annual Pentathlon. Sophomore Fi
Connell won the meet for the second consecutive year.
NAU opens the regular season at the
Vandal Relays in Moscow, Idaho on Thursday, November 11. The
Lumberjacks then face Washington State on Friday, November 12 and
Idaho on Saturday, November 13.
