Punter Zamora Named National Performer of the Week

FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. – Northern Arizona punter Drew Zamora was named the co-National Punter of the Week with Drew Nelson of Stephen F. Austin by the College Football Performance Awards.

Zamora, a junior from Colorado Springs, Colo., had four punts on Saturday against Sacramento State, averaging 55.2 yards per punt with two inside the 20 and a long of 64 yards. For the season, he is averaging 43.2 yards per punt.

He is the third Lumberjack honored with National Performer of the Week this season. Freshman running back Zach Bauman and Matt Myers each garnered the award on Sept. 6.   Zamora has twice been named an honorable mention selection for this award this season on Oct. 4 and Oct. 18.
