Former Lumberjack Sir Playing in IBL

EDMONTON, Alberta - Former
Lumberjack Stephen Sir has continued his professional career with
the Edmonton Energy in the International Basketball League.
The Energy
opened play with a 5-1 start with Sir averaging a team-best 23.3
points per game, the sixth-best total in the league. Sir plays with
former Weber State forward Dave Patten. They are coached by
Sir's father, Paul.
Sir most recently played for Erdgas
Ehingen in Germany, averaging 18.2 points per game while shooting
44 percent from three.
He is one of seven former
Lumberjacks currently playing professionally including Ruben
Boykin, Jr. (Fileni BPA Jesa, Italy-Lega2), Casey Frank (Wellington
Saints, New Zealand), Kyle Landry (BK Prostejov, Czech
Republic-NBL), Dan McClintock (MBC Mykolaev, Ukraine), Ryan McDade
(KTP Basket Kotka, Finland) and Josh Wilson (Ehingen Steeples,
Germany-Pro B).
Landry is currently in the playoffs in the finals in the Czech Republic,
scoring a career-high 31 points and grabbing 17 rebounds in the
deciding fifth game of the semifinals over Novy Jicin.
