DENVER, Colo. – Northern
Arizona freshman Kristy Ardavanis was added to the
Lumberjacks' list of 12 Academic All-Western Athletic

Ardavanis, from Gilbert, Ariz., was

springboard at the WAC Championships in March. She also
finished seventh on 1-meter. To be eligible as a freshman,
Ardavanis needed to record two full semesters of a 3.0 GPA or
better.
The other Lumberjack selections
released in April included seniors Rachael Foe, Jessi Jones,
Lindsey Miller, Kimber Morelli and T.J. Williams and juniors Lana
Christensen, Meredith Egloria, Claire Ferro, Taryn Harris, and
Monica Veit.
Earlier
this year, the Lumberjacks were recognized by the College Swimming
Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) for academic excellence in
the classroom. The women earned the Division I Team Scholar
All-American award for the fifth time under Johns.
Swimming and diving totaled a 3.02 grade point average in the
spring and holds a 3.22 cumulative GPA through the spring
semester.
