Women's Golf Starts Wildcat Invitational 12th After 18 Holes

TUCSON, Ariz. – The Northern Arizona women's golf team is in 12th place at the Wildcat Invitational after the first round of action on the Vistoso Golf Club course.
The Lumberjacks shot a team score of 318 behind solid rounds by sophomore Kaitlen Parsons and Stephanie Kim. Parsons carded a two-over par 74 to place tied for 13th after 18 holes, while Kim posted a four-over par 76 in the first round.
Laura Jabczenski shot an 11-over par 83 in the first round. Susan Mejia was two trokes back at 85 in her Lumberjack debut, while teammate Melissa Olson recorded a 92 in the first round.
Darian Spivey, who played as an individual in her collegiate debut, shot an 86.
The second round will be played Monday.
