Zach Bauman Named CFPA FCS National Running Back Performer of the Week

FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. – Northern Arizona senior Zach Bauman was named the College Football Performance Awards (CFPA) FCS National Running Back Performer of the Week, announced by the organization. Bauman racked up 196 rushing yards in the Lumberjacks 39-38 win at Sacramento State on Saturday. It was Bauman's third 100-yard plus game of the season and 21st of his career.
The Chandler native rushed for 31 yards in the first quarter, including NAU's first touchdown of the game which was a seven-yard run into the end zone. Bauman added 19 yards in the second quarter, but it was his 79 yards in the third quarter that put him over the 100-yard mark. He was able to tack on his second touchdown of the game with a 25-yard run in the fourth quarter to give NAU the game-winning score.
In addition to 196 rushing yards, Bauman also collected 21 receiving yards in the road win.
