Lomong Results  Chipangama Results 

Estrada Results

MOSKVA, Russia - Three former Lumberjacks - Lopez Lomong ('09), Jordan Chipangama ('12) and Diego Estrada ('12) - competed and represented their respective countries at last week's IAAF World Championships.

Former NCAA Outdoor 1,500m and 3,000m national champion Lopez Lomong represented the United States in the 1,500m heat. Lomong finished sixth in the heat and 17th in the overall field with a time of 3:43.79, a full seven seconds faster than the time he registered when winning the USA outdoor 1,500m championship in 2010.

2012 Big Sky Outdoor 1,500m Champion Jordan Chipangama represented the country of Zambia in the marathon event. Chipangama had a strong showing finishing 29th out of a field of 70 with a time of 2:19.47.

Diego Estrada, Big Sky Conference record holder for the 5,000m event, represented the country of Mexico in the 5,000 meter race. Estrada finished 12th in his heat registering a time of 13:48.3.
