Football Receives Top 25 Ranking for Second Week in a Row

FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. – The Northern Arizona football team had a bye last week, but the Lumberjacks remained in the top 25 after the second week of the season. The Lumberjacks fell from 22nd to 25th place in The Sports Network FCS Top 25, while the FCS Coaches' Poll had the Lumberjacks ranked 24th. College Sports Madness had the Lumberjacks ranked 21st, one spot up from last week.
The Lumberjacks will return to play this week when they hit the road for a game at UC Davis on Saturday, Sept. 14. NAU is 0-1, while the Aggies are 0-2 and unranked.
