FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. – On Friday, the Northern Arizona men's basketball team will officially begin practice for the 2014-15 season. The Lumberjacks were able to practice during the summer for their trip to the Bahamas, but come Friday the road to March Madness starts at 2 p.m. at the Rolle Activity Center.
"I'm excited to start practice this Friday, especially with the feeling that we're further ahead than we were a year ago, due to our trip to the Bahamas," said head coach Jack Murphy. "I feel like everyone is on the same page, and we're just looking forward to getting back to work."
The Lumberjacks will host California Baptist in an exhibition contest on Wed. Oct. 29 at the Rolle Activity Center. NAU's first regular season game will be on the road at Xavier on Friday, Nov. 14.
