Take a look at the senior center from Tempe, Ariz. before the Lumberjacks take the court on Nov. 3 with their home exhibition against New Mexico Highlands.

What's your life motto or philosophy you live by?

My dad always told me that, "it's not what happens to you but how you deal with it that defines you as a person." I've taken that with me all through high school and college and it's something that I live by.

Who would be your dream NBA/WNBA starting five?

Allen Iverson at point guard, Michael Jordan at shooting guard, Kevin Durant at small forward, Tim Duncan at power forward and Shaquille O'Neal at center.

With the game on the line, would you rather score the game-winning shot or shut down your opponent one-on-one?

Shut down one-on-one, 100 percent.

What are your strengths as a player?

I'm loud and I'm trying to fill in the leader position. I want to be a positive, optimistic leader that goes 110% for myself and my teammates. I want to encourage them to work hard and change the culture of this program.

What are your personal goals for the season?

I want to be more consistent this year. Last year, everyone tells me that I had a breakout toward the ending of Big Sky and I don't want them to think like that. I want them to know that from day one, I brought it every single time.
