What's your life motto or philosophy you live by?
I was told at a really young age by my favorite coach who has been coaching me for 14 years that "hard work always beats talent especially when talent doesn't work hard." Since I'm not a super athletic player or super tall player, it's stuck with me my whole life that skill can outdo any talent.
Who would be your dream NBA/WNBA starting five?
My favorite player is Steve Nash and I have a lot of respect for Diana Taurasi for what she's done for the game. If I had them, I'd take whoever else wanted to play.
With the game on the line, would you rather score the game-winning shot or shut down your opponent one-on-one?
Bottom line I just want to win, so whatever it takes I want to do it. Either way, I'm good.
What are your strengths as a player?
One of my biggest strengths is being a great leader for the team. I've also been working a lot on my shot this summer.
What are your personal goals for the season?
My goal is to recognize what my team needs in any given situation and always being able to do that whether it's the most glorious thing or not.
